1. Information We Collect

Personal identification information: name, email address, phone number, company name, GST number, and website URL provided during registration.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, and device/browser information.
Communication data: messages sent through our contact forms or support channels.
Payment information: processed securely via Razorpay; we do not store card details.

2. Location Data

If you use the BuilderXPro mobile app as field staff, we collect precise GPS location data — including in the background, while the app is not in active use — for as long as you are clocked in for your work shift.
This location data is used to: verify field site attendance, calculate accurate per-kilometre travel distance for fuel/travel reimbursement claims, and let your organisation see field staff locations on an active map during working hours.
Background location collection starts only when you clock in and stops automatically when you clock out. It is never collected outside of an active work shift.
Location data is shared only with your own organisation (your employer on BuilderXPro) for attendance and reimbursement purposes. We do not sell location data or share it with third parties or advertisers.
Location history is retained as part of your attendance and travel-claim records for as long as your account is active, or as required for reimbursement/audit and legal record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
You can stop location collection at any time by clocking out, and you can revoke location permission at any time from your device Settings — doing so will prevent field attendance tracking from functioning while you are clocked in.

We do not sell your personal data, including location data, to third parties.
We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g. Razorpay, Supabase, Exotel) strictly for service delivery.
Field staff location data is shared only with their own organisation on BuilderXPro, for attendance and reimbursement purposes.
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest using industry-standard encryption.
Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
We use Supabase Auth with enterprise-grade security for authentication.

Account & business records: retained while your account is active. On an organisation-deletion request, data is purged after a 15-day warning and a 60-day backup grace period.
Deleted projects: kept for a 30-day reversible grace period, then permanently deleted.
Individual account erasure: on request, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days.
Location / attendance history: retained as attendance and travel-claim records while your account is active, then deleted or anonymised.
Consent records: retained on an append-only basis as proof of your consent history, as the law requires a data fiduciary to maintain.
Payment, invoice and GST records: retained for the minimum period required under Indian tax and company law, which may extend beyond account deletion.
Security logs: retained per CERT-In requirements.

Access: You may request a copy of your personal data, including your location history.
Correction: You may update inaccurate information via your account settings.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data.
Portability: You may request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
Grievance redressal: You may raise any complaint about the handling of your personal data with our Grievance Officer (Section 8), who will respond within the statutory timeframe.
